Accreditation
The Academy is an approved member of the New Zealand Association of Wedding Professionals and our courses are recommended by them. We are also an Approved Member of the International Association for Distance Learning and an Associate Member of the New Zealand Association of Private Education Providers
The Academy is a registered member of the New Zealand Association of Private Education Providers (NZAPEP) which is a national organisation representing private tertiary institutions in New Zealand. The Association is the largest association covering all areas of tertiary education and is recognised by the Government and government agencies as the main representative of the sector.
All courses at the Academy are endorsed and accredited by the New Zealand Association of Wedding Professionals who offer an independent assessment ensuring we have met criteria in the areas of administration, course content, course delivery and student assessment.
The NZAWP gives bridal industry professionals, who are passionate and seriously committed to being the leaders in their field, an opportunity to be united in excellence by the high standards they have set for their individual businesses. They nurture newcomers to the industry ensuring that their creative talents are blended with the right level of training and market trends to ensure that they will be able to perform at a level of expertise that will be a credit to the future wedding industry in New Zealand.
The Association requires that the standards and ethics of its members is consistent with their professional standards of conduct which should be portrayed through enhanced education, knowledge and the reputable practices of our business partners.
The Academy has an International Accreditation Program as follows:
- Certified Wedding Consultant - Certificate of Wedding Planning
- Certified Event Planner - Certificate of Event Planning
- Certified Event Designer - Certificate of Event Design
- Certified Wedding Planner and Designer - Diploma of Wedding Planning, Styling and Design and Advanced Diploma of Special Event Planning and Design

- IADL (International Association of Distance Learning)The International Association for Distance Learning promotes excellence in open, distance and online learning worldwide, and provides a benchmark through which global consumers can gauge the quality of courses offered by their members.
- NZAEP - (New Zealand Association of Event Professionals) The mission of the New Zealand Association of Event Professionals is to provide leadership for the industry through advocacy, education and accreditation.
- LERN (Learning Resources Network) LERN is an international association of lifelong learning programming, offering information and resources to providers of lifelong learning programs.
