We are the only training institution in New Zealand to offer specialised courses in Wedding Styling and Design that have been endorsed by the New Zealand Association of Wedding Professionals. Along with our flagship Certificates in Wedding Planning and Event Planning we also offer a Certificate in Event Design, Diploma in Wedding Planning, Styling and Design and Advanced Diploma in Special Event Planning and Design.
The team here at the Academy is made up of an array of professionals from within the industry including: Wedding Experts, Industry Tutors, Course Consultants and Special Event Career Mentors. All members of our team have run their own businesses within the wedding industry and have a wealth of knowledge to share. We are a specialist college and only offer courses that relate to the events industry rather than a general home study college. Weddings and Events are our passion and we have spent over 5 years developing our courses so they are easy to understand and will show you not only how to be a wedding planner, stylist or designer, but also how to run a business in this industry.
Our courses are updated on a regular basis to give you the very latest information and keep you up to date with all the trends for the forthcoming season. We travel far and wide to make sure we bring you the most up to date news and in March 2011 we atttended the Event Solutions Ideas Factory in Las Vegas where we were surrounded by over 5,000 event professionals from around the world. Next year we are aiming to attend the Wedding Planning Conference in Florida from November 12-16 2012 to once again bring oyu the most upto date information available.
Our online Virtual Campus offers the very latest in learning technology and brings the courses to life with Podcasts from our tutors and experts, as well as videos presented throughout the courses to make you feel as though your tutor is there with you. Our tutors are with you every step of the way to hold your hand and help you to get the most out of your learning experience.
